African Mahogany
Scientific name: Khaya SenegalensisWhat’s the tree like? Up to 130ft in height, with diameters of 18-24” (up to 36”) Wood appearance Heartwood is a uniform pink colour, darkens with age. Sapwood is a creamy/yellowy white, often easily differentiated between. Texture medium to coarse with occasionally interlocked grain.
